An information distribution method comprising:

• storing in advance, for each of predetermined distribution destinations, at least one set of output destination information representing predetermined output destinations, and security level information associated with each set of output destination information;
• receiving electronic information and distribution destination information that represents a distribution destination of the electronic information;
• reading the output destination information and security level information that correspond to the distribution destination represented by the received distribution destination information;
• selecting an output destination of the electronic information on the basis of the security level information that has been read;
• and
• distributing the electronic information to the selected output destination.

A storage medium storing an information distribution program that is executable by a computer to perform a processing comprising:

• receiving electronic information and distribution destination information that represents a distribution destination of the electronic information;
• reading, from a storage section that stores, for each of predetermined distribution destinations, at least one set of output destination information representing predetermined output destinations and security level information associated with each set of output destination information, the output destination information and security level information that correspond to the distribution destination represented by the received distribution destination information;
• selecting an output destination of the electronic information on the basis of the security level information that has been read;
• and
• distributing the electronic information to the selected output destination.

A data signal embodied in a carrier wave for causing a computer to execute information distribution processing, the information distributing processing comprising:

• receiving electronic information and distribution destination information that represents a distribution destination of the electronic information;
• reading, from a storage section that stores, for each of predetermined distribution destinations, at least one set of output destination information representing predetermined output destinations and security level information associated with each set of output destination information, the output destination information and security level information that correspond to the distribution destination represented by the received distribution destination information;
• selecting an output destination of the electronic information on the basis of the security level information that has been read;
• and
• distributing the electronic information to the selected output destination.
