Abstract
According to a first aspect, a method comprises: receiving, in a processing system, data representing a dataflow network, the dataflow network including a first node and a second node, the first node having an output, the second node having an input connected to the output of the first node, and determining, in the processing system, whether to execute the second node based at least in part on whether the first node has data to present.

A method comprising:
- receiving, in a processing system, data representing a dataflow network, the dataflow network including a first node and a second node, the first node having an output, the second node having an input connected to the output of the first node;
- and
- determining, in the processing system, whether to execute the second node based at least in part on whether the first node has data to present.
A storage medium having stored thereon instructions that if executed by a machine, result in the following:
- receiving, in a processing system, data representing a dataflow network, the dataflow network including a first node and a second node, the first node having an output, the second node having an input connected to the output of the first node;
- and
- determining, in the processing system, whether to execute the second node based at least in part on whether the first node has data to present.
Apparatus comprising:
- means for receiving data representing a dataflow network, the dataflow network including a first node and a second node, the first node having an output, the second node having an input connected to the output of the first node;
- and
- means whether to execute the second node based at least in part on whether the first node has data to present.
Apparatus comprising:
- a processing system to (1) receive data representing a dataflow network, the dataflow network including a first node and a second node, the first node having an output, the second node having an input connected to the output of the first node;
- and (2) determine whether to execute the second node based at least in part on whether the first node has data to present.
A method comprising:
- receiving, in a processing system, data representing a dataflow network, the dataflow network including a first node and a second node, the first node having an output, the second node having an input connected to the output of the first node;
- and
- executing the first node to determine whether to execute the second node.
An apparatus comprising:
- a processing system to (1) receive data representing a dataflow network, the dataflow network including a first node and a second node, the first node having an output, the second node having an input connected to the output of the first node and (2) execute the first node to determine whether to execute the second node.
