Abstract

The present invention discloses a method for implementing a prepaid common account, where a user initiates an account resource use request to a service control function management module through a service control function module; the service control function management module determines whether to accept the request, and if the request is accepted, then allocates an account resource to the user depending upon an account resource allocation schema, and returns an allocation result to the service control function module; the user uses the account resource dependent upon the account resource allocation result returned from the service control function module. If the request is not accepted, then a resource allocation failure result is returned to the user, and the process completes. With the inventive solution, a common account based upon the VPN service cannot be enabled for the prepaid user. Moreover, the joint user of prepaid users can be implemented without cooperation of a service support system, and also can be applied for small groups, such as a family or a group of intimate users. Therefore, the demands of the prepaid users are satisfied by flexible and convenient service.
