Integrated circuit and method for determining the operating range of an integrated circuit

A method for ascertaining an operating range for an integrated circuit, comprising:

• performing a test routine for testing at least one system component from a plurality of system components in the integrated circuit,
• wherein the at least one system component is not in operation when the at least one system component is tested, and at least one other untested system component from the plurality of system components is ready for operation when the at least one system component is tested.

A method for ascertaining an operating range for an integrated circuit having a plurality of system components, comprising:

• providing a test procedure by at least one system component from a plurality of system components in the integrated circuit;
• and
• testing at least one further system component from a plurality of system components at a plurality of supply voltages and a plurality of operating frequencies for the at least one further system component in line with the test procedure.

An integrated circuit comprising:

• a plurality of system components,
• wherein at least one system component from the plurality of system components provides a test procedure, and
• wherein the test procedure is taken as a basis for testing at least one further system component from the plurality of system components at a plurality of supply voltages and a plurality of operating frequencies for the at least one further system component.
