The invention relates to polyurethane form-forming composition possessing modified silicone surfactants and having delayed catalysis for modifying foam hardness and improved foam openness.

A polyurethane foam-forming composition comprising:
- (a) at least one polyol;
- (b) at least one polyisocyanate;
- (c) at least one amine catalyst for the polyurethane-forming reaction;
- (d) at least one silicone possessing carboxylic acid functionality;
- and,
- (e) at least one blowing agent.
