Provided are azeotrope-like compositions comprising tetrafluoropropene and one or more selected hydrorocarbons and uses thereof, including use in refrigerant compositions, refrigeration systems, blowing agent compositions, and aerosol propellants.

An azeotrope-like composition comprising effective amounts of trans-1,3,3,3-pentafluoropropane (transHFO-1234ze) and a compound selected from the group consisting of propane, n-butane, isobutane, 2-methylbutane and combinations of two or more of these.
An azeotrope-like composition consisting essentially of greater than zero to about 50 weight percent transHFO-1234ze and from about 50 weight percent to about less than about 100 weight percent propane.
An azeotrope-like composition consisting essentially of greater than zero to about 50 weight percent transHFO-1234ze and from about 50 weight percent to less than 100 weight percent 2-methyl butane.
An azeotrope-like composition consisting essentially of from about 20 to less than about 100 weight percent transHFO-1234ze and from greater than zero to about 80 weight percent n-butane.
A one-component foam or foamable composition comprising a foam forming agent and a blowing agent comprising an azeotrope-like composition comprising effective amounts of trans-1,3,3,3-pentafluoropropane (transHFO-1234ze) and a compound selected from the group consisting of propane, n-butane, isobutane, 2-methylbutane and combinations of two or more of these.
