Abstract
An image processing apparatus includes a management unit configured to manage a template arranged to determine the placement of an image, a clipping unit configured to clip a part of a first image, and a placement unit configured to dispose a second image clipped from the first image by the clipping unit on the template, wherein the clipping unit clips the second image from the first image so as to include a region which maintains the aspect ratio of a region of the template where an image is disposed, and also includes the first image as much as possible.

An image processing apparatus comprising:
- a detection processing unit configured to detect a region determined to be a face from an image;
- a determination processing unit configured to determine the size of a detected face;
- and
- a clipping processing unit configured to clip a second image from a first image with a predetermined aspect ratio so as to include a face equal to or greater than a predetermined size.
An image processing apparatus comprising:
- a detection processing unit configured to detect a region determined to be a face from an image;
- and
- a clipping processing unit configured to clip an image with a predetermined aspect ratio so as to include a region having the highest probability as a face, in the event that multiple regions determined to be faces were detected.
An image processing apparatus comprising:
- a detection processing unit configured to detect a region determined to be a face from an image;
- and
- a clipping processing unit configured to clip an image with a predetermined aspect ratio so as to include faces as many as possible, in the event that multiple regions determined to be faces were detected.
An image processing apparatus comprising:
- a detection processing unit configured to detect a region determined to be a face from an image;
- and
- a clipping processing unit configured to clip an image with a predetermined aspect ratio so as to include a face satisfying a specific condition, of detected faces.
An image processing apparatus comprising:
- a detection processing unit configured to detect a region determined to be a face from an image;
- a determination processing unit configured to determine the size of a detected face;
- and
- a clipping processing unit configured to clip an image so as to include the greatest face of detected faces.
An image processing method comprising the steps of:
- a detection processing arranged to detect a region determined to be a face from an image;
- a determination processing arranged to determine the size of a detected face;
- and
- a clipping processing arranged to clip a second image from a first image with a predetermined aspect ratio so as to include a face equal to or greater than a predetermined size.
An image processing method comprising the steps of:
- detection processing arranged to detect a region determined to be a face from an image;
- and
- clipping processing arranged to clip an image with a predetermined aspect ratio so as to include a region having the highest probability as a face, in the event that multiple regions determined to be faces were detected.
