Abstract
A pneumatic having a porous member mounted on an inner surface facing a cavity of the tire. The porous member has ends located on front and back sides thereof in the rotation direction of the tire. At least the back end has corners located on opposite sides thereof in the widthwise direction of the porous member, the corners being chamfered.

A pneumatic tire having a porous member mounted on an inner surface facing a cavity of the tire, the porous member having ends located on front and back sides thereof in a direction of rotation of the tire, at least the back end having corners located on opposite sides thereof in a widthwise direction of the porous member, the corners being chamfered.
