Abstract
A silver halide color photographic light-sensitive material having, on a support, at least each one light-sensitive silver halide emulsion layers containing yellow-, magenta-, or cyan-dye-forming-coupler, and at least one light-insensitive hydrophilic colloid layer, wherein at least one of the dye-forming couplers is a dye-forming coupler that forms an azomethine dye having a solubility of 1×10−8 mol/L to 5×10−3 mol/L in ethyl acetate; and an image forming method using the light-sensitive material.

A silver halide color photographic light-sensitive material having, on a support, at least one yellow-dye-forming-coupler-containing light-sensitive silver halide emulsion layer, at least one magenta-dye-forming-coupler-containing light-sensitive silver halide emulsion layer, at least one cyan-dye-forming-coupler-containing light-sensitive silver halide emulsion layer, and at least one light-insensitive hydrophilic colloid layer, characterized in that:
- at least one of the dye-forming couplers is a dye-forming coupler that forms an azomethine dye having a solubility of 1×10−8 mol/L to 5×10−3 mol/L in ethyl acetate by reaction with an oxidized aromatic primary amine compound.
An image forming method, comprises exposing a silver halide color photographic light-sensitive material having, on a support, at least one yellow-dye-forming-coupler-containing light-sensitive silver halide emulsion layer, at least one magenta-dye-forming-coupler-containing light-sensitive silver halide emulsion layer, at least one cyan-dye-forming-coupler-containing light-sensitive silver halide emulsion layer and at least one light-insensitive hydrophilic colloid layer, and subjecting the exposed light-sensitive material to development-processing characterized in that:
- at least one of the dye-forming couplers is a dye-forming coupler that forms an azomethine dye having a solubility of 1×10−8 mol/L to 5×10−3 mol/L in ethyl acetate by reaction with an oxidized product of an aromatic primary amine compound.
