Abstract
A printing press includes an anilox inking unit with an engraved roller and a doctor-type ink fountain. At least one stirring element projects into the doctor-type ink fountain.
Claims4
A printing press, comprising:
- an anilox inking unit having an engraved roller and a doctor-type ink fountain;
- and
- at least one stirring element projecting into said doctor-type ink fountain.
A method for operating a printing press, the method comprising the following steps:
- providing an anilox inking unit having an engraved roller and a doctor-type ink fountain;
- and
- stirring a printing ink supply in the doctor-type ink fountain with a stirring element to minimize small air bubbles in the printing ink supply.
