Abstract
A method and arrangements for managing user security data stored in a database of a communications system. In the method a user equipment transmits a request to manage the user security data, the user equipment is authenticated, after which an application entity can manage user security data in the database that associates with the user by communicating data between the application entity and the database connected to the communications system.
Claims30
A method for managing, from a user equipment, user security data stored in a database of a communications system, comprising:
- receiving from the user equipment a request to manage the user security data;
- authenticating the user equipment in an application entity;
- and
- managing, by an application entity, user security data in a database associated with the user equipment by communicating data between the application entity and a database connected to the communications system.
A computer program embodied on a computer readable medium, the computer program executing a program configured to perform:
- receiving from the user equipment a request to manage the user security data;
- authenticating the user equipment in an application entity;
- and
- managing, by an application entity, user security data in a database associated with the user equipment by communicating data between the application entity and a database connected to the communications system.
A first node for a communications system where user security data is stored in a database stored on a second node, the first node being configured to receive an input from a user equipment to manage user security data associated with an authenticated user, and to manage user security data associated with the authenticated user in the database by communicating data to the database connected to the communications system.
A communications system, comprising:
- a first node configured to receive an input from a user equipment to manage user security data associated with an authenticated user;
- a second node configured to store the user security data in a database on the second node;
- a receiving unit configured to receive a request from a user equipment to manage the user security data;
- an authenticating unit configured to authenticate the user equipment in an application entity;
- and
- an application entity configured to manage the user security data in a database associated with the user equipment by communicating data between the application entity and a database connected to the communications system.
An apparatus for managing, from a user equipment, user security data stored in a database of a communications system, comprising:
- means for receiving from the user equipment a request to manage the user security data;
- means for authenticating the user equipment in an application entity;
- and
- means for managing, by an application entity, user security data in a database associated with the user equipment by communicating data between the application entity and a database connected to the communications system.
