Abstract
A receiver system is disclosed. The receiver system comprises a receiver; and a gigablock coupled to the receiver. The gigablock comprises a plurality of memory systems. The memory system comprises a plurality of memory devices. The plurality of memory devices are coupled in a parallel fashion to receive high bandwidth data.

A receiver system comprising:
- a receiver;
- and
- a gigablock coupled to the receiver, the gigablock comprising a plurality of memory systems wherein the memory system comprises a plurality of memory devices, wherein the plurality of memory devices are coupled in a parallel fashion to receive high bandwidth data.
A set top box comprising:
- a receiver;
- a gigablock coupled to the receiver, the gigablock comprising a plurality of memory devices, wherein the plurality of memory devices are coupled in a parallel fashion to receive high bandwidth data;
- and
- a decoding engine which communicates with a network center.
