Abstract
Provided is a system includes a transmitting device which transmits by an object carousel an object including a data and a message to reference the data, and a receiving device which receives the object, wherein the message is a broadcast inter ORB protocol (BIOP) message. The transmitting device includes a control unit which inserts into the message information regarding an encoding system used to encode character strings within the message, and a transmitting unit which transmits the object and the message. The receiving device includes a receiving unit which receives the object, and a control unit which decodes the character strings based on the information.

A system comprising:
- a transmitting device which transmits by an object carousel an object including a data and a message to reference the data;
- and
- a receiving device which receives the object,
- wherein the transmitting device comprises:
- a control unit which inserts into the message information regarding an encoding system used to encode character strings within the message;
- and
- a transmitting unit which transmits the object and the message,
- wherein the receiving device comprises:
- a receiving unit which receives the object;
- and
- a control unit which decodes the character strings based on the information, and
- wherein the message is a broadcast inter ORB protocol (BIOP) message.
The system of claim 4, wherein the character strings are common object request broker architecture (CORBA) strings defined according to CORBA/IIOP 2.1.
