Abstract
A novel imidazolium compound represented by the following general formula (I), which has an allyl group incorporated in the 3-position of the imidazolium ring. It needs no complicated operations for dissolution and has excellent handleability and a high ionic conductivity.
Claims6
An imidazolium compound represented by Formula (I) below:
- in which, R1, R2, R3, and R4 independently denote a hydrogen atom, an optionally substituted alkyl group having 1 to 10 carbon atoms, an optionally substituted cycloalkyl group having 3 to 10 carbon atoms, an optionally substituted alkenyl group having 2 to 10 carbon atoms, or an optionally substituted aryl group having 6 to 10 carbon atoms, and X− is Cl−, Br−, I−, BF4−, PF6−, CF3SO3−, or (CF3SO2)2N−, with the proviso that when R1 is an alkyl group having 1 to 2 carbon atoms, X− is BF4−, PF6−, CF3SO3−, or (CF3SO2)2N−, and a case in which R2 to R4 are hydrogen atoms, R1 is an allyl group, and X− is Br− is excluded.
A solvent comprising an imidazolium compound represented by Formula (I) below:
- in which, R1, R2, R3, and R4 independently denote a hydrogen atom, an optionally substituted alkyl group having 1 to 10 carbon atoms, an optionally substituted cycloalkyl group having 3 to 10 carbon atoms, an optionally substituted alkenyl group having 2 to 10 carbon atoms, or an optionally substituted aryl group having 6 to 10 carbon atoms, and X− is Cl−, Br−, I−, BF4−, PF6−, CF3SO3−, or (CF3SO2)2N−.
