Abstract
A device and a method are disclosed for the detection and/or for the quantification of an analyte. In at least one embodiment, the device includes a basic matrix and magnetized nanoparticles, which are arranged in moveable fashion in or at the basic matrix and to which catcher molecules that bind specifically to the analyte are anchored. Further, the mobility of the nanoparticle in the basic matrix can be influenced by a binding of the analyte to be detected to the catcher molecules and can be read out magnetically.
Claims25
A device for at least one of the detection and quantification of an analyte with the aid of catcher molecules that bind specifically to the analyte, the device comprising:
- a basic matrix;
- and
- at least one magnetized nanoparticle, arranged in moveable fashion at least one of in and at the basic matrix, to which catcher molecules that bind specifically to the analyte are anchored, wherein mobility of the at least one magnetized nanoparticle in the basic matrix is influenceable by a binding of the analyte to be detected to the catcher molecules and the changed mobility of the nanoparticle is magnetically readible.
A method for at least one of the detection and the quantification of an analyte with the aid of catcher molecules that bind specifically to an analyte, the method comprising:
- applying the analyte to be detected to a basic matrix, at least one of at and on which is arranged in moveable fashion at least one magnetized nanoparticle to which catcher molecules that bind specifically to an analyte are anchored;
- influencing the mobility of the nanoparticle in the basic matrix by a binding of the analyte to be detected to the catcher molecules;
- and
- magnetically reading out a changed mobility of the nanoparticle in the basic matrix.
