• where M is a metal;
• n is the valence of M;
• R and R1 which can be the same or different are selected from hydrogen,
• substituted and unsubstituted hydrocarbyl groups such as substituted and unsubstituted aliphatic groups, substituted and unsubstituted aromatic, heterocyclic and polycyclic ring structures,
• fluorocarbons such as trifluomethyl groups,
• halogens such as fluorine;
• thiophenyl groups;
• and
• cyano.
