Abstract
A flame-resistant electrical circuit covercoat composition includes a phosphinate and a urethane solder mask. The composition can be used as a covercoat for flexible circuits.
Claims21
A flame-resistant electrical circuit covercoat composition comprising:
- a phosphinate;
- and
- a urethane solder mask.
A flexible circuit comprising:
- a substrate;
- and
- a flame-resistant covercoat comprising a mixture of a urethane solder mask and a phosphinate.
A method of forming a flexible circuit with a flame-resistant covercoat, the method comprising:
- mixing a phosphinate and a urethane solder mask to form a composition for the covercoat;
- coating the composition on the flexible circuit;
- and
- curing the coated flexible circuit.
