Abstract
A transparent article having a thickness of at least 0.5 mm, which contains fine particles containing zirconium oxide as a main component in a resin and has a light transmittance of at least 60% at a wavelength of 405 nm and at least 70% at a wavelength of 589 nm in terms of the article having a thickness of 1 mm. The article has excellent transparency and high refractivity.

A transparent article having a thickness of at least 0.5 mm, which comprises fine particles containing zirconium oxide as a main component in a resin and has a light transmittance of at least 60% at a wavelength of 405 nm and at least 70% at a wavelength of 589 nm in terms of the article having a thickness of 1 mm.
A method for producing a transparent article having a thickness of at least 0.5 mm and having a light transmittance of at least 60% at a wavelength of 405 nm and at least 70% at a wavelength of 589 nm in terms of the article having a thickness of 1 mm;
- which comprises dispersing fine particles containing zirconium oxide as a main component in a resin.
