A microwave popcorn product comprising a plurality of unpopped popcorn kernels and a fat composition, wherein said kernels are suspended in said fat composition, and wherein said fat composition comprises a vegetable oil and a plant-derived wax component, said plant-derived wax component comprising at least about 0.1%, by weight, of said fat composition.

A food product comprising a fat composition, said fat composition comprising a vegetable oil and a plant-derived wax component, said plant-derived wax component comprising at least about 0.1%, by weight, of said fat composition.
