A new and improved apparatus for facilitating the sale, transfer, and/or assignment of intellectual property is herein disclosed.

An apparatus for providing at least one transaction of intellectual property rights, the method comprising the steps of:
- providing a means for listing intellectual property rights;
- providing means for accessing the means for listing;
- providing a searchable database of the intellectual property rights;
- and,
- categorizing the intellectual property into technology categories.
