Abstract
A method for processing online charging, according to an embodiment, includes: providing, by an Online Charging System (OCS), a credit limit and a monitoring condition to a Traffic Plane Function (TPF); requesting, by the TPF, the OCS to re-authorize a user if the credit limit has been used up or the monitoring condition has been reached. A system for processing online charging, according to another embodiment, includes an Online Charging System (OCS) and a Traffic Plane Function (TPF). The method and the system implement the charging based on the combination of volume and time, so that the OCS may monitor the use of network resources within a time period.

A method for processing online charging, comprising:
- providing, by an Online Charging System (OCS), a credit limit and a monitoring condition to a Traffic Plane Function (TPF);
- and,
- requesting, by the TPF, the OCS to re-authorize a user if the credit limit has been used up or the monitoring condition has been reached.
A system for processing online charging, comprising:
- an Online Charging System (OCS) being configured for providing a credit limit and a monitoring condition;
- a Traffic Plane Function (TPF) being configured for requesting the OCS to re-authorize a user if the credit limit has been used up or the monitoring condition has been reached.
