Abstract
A system and method are provided for collecting all data relevant to a drug product throughout the life cycle of the drug product(life cycle data), applying a common rules set to determine and initiate responsive action and storing the collected data into a centralized data repository. The system and method allows for the monitoring of collected data to identify trigger events and to initiate predetermine actions based upon predetermined rules. The system is configured to collect data and assemble it in a centralized data repository. Further, the system is configured to analyze data in accordance with predefined rules and determine current status of one or more factors.

A Drug life cycle management system comprising a central data repository for storing data related to a drug product.
A drug life cycle management system configured to carry out the steps of:
- Receiving data related to a drug product from a business entity involved in the life cycle of a drug product;
- and
- Storing the data into a central data repository.
