The method of claim 33, wherein the cross-linked protein shell comprises at least one cross-linked protein, the protein selected from the group consisting of hemoglobin, pepsin, immunoglobulin, lipase, peroxidase and myoglobin.
The method of claim 34, wherein the cross-linked protein shell comprises at least one cross-linked protein, the protein selected from the group consisting of hemoglobin, pepsin, immunoglobulin, lipase, peroxidase and myoglobin.
A method of making a microparticle, comprising:
- forming a cross-linked protein shell, and
- attaching a surface coating to the cross-linked protein shell.
A method of making a microparticle, comprising:
- forming a cross-linked protein shell, and
- attaching a surface coating to the cross-linked protein shell,
- wherein the surface coating comprises particles.
A method of making a microparticle, comprising:
- mixing an aqueous solution of a protein with particles suspended in oil, to form a mixture;
- and
- irradiating the mixture with ultrasound to cross-link the protein and form the microparticle.
