Abstract
A BigFoot™ Bag material containment system which provides a material container (2) having a flexible layer (26) which can be established in a substantially planar configuration (3) on a support surface (4) for loading material (5) and which operably conforms by closure (15) to provide an enclosed space (20) to contain the loaded material (5).

A material container, comprising:
- a) a flexible layer established in a substantially planar configuration on a support surface in an open condition of said material container;
- and
- b) a closure element coupled to substantially the entirety of a perimeter edge of said substantially planar configuration which operates to generate an amount of enclosed space in a closed condition of said material container, and wherein said perimeter edge of said substantially planar configuration defines a configuration of said closed condition of said material container which allows operation of said closure element for a distance along said perimeter edge at an angle of between about 15 degrees and forty five degrees relative to said support surface.
