Abstract
A device for connecting two elements by shrinking a shrink tube includes a heating element and a control unit. The heating element is adapted for providing thermal or inductive energy and is further adapted such that with it a shrink tube, which can be pulled onto a connection region of two elements to be connected, can be encased along at least part of the circumference of the shrink tube. The control unit is adapted for supplying electrical energy to the heating element and furthermore is adapted such that with it the temperature of the heating element is controllable such that, by shrinking the shrink tube, the two elements are connectable.
Claims19
A device for connecting two elements by shrinking a shrink tube, the device comprising:
- a heating element;
- and
- a control unit;
- wherein the heating element is adapted for providing thermal or inductive energy and is further adapted such that with it a shrink tube, which is pullable onto a connection region of two elements to be connected, is encasable along at least a part of a circumference of the shrink tube;
- and
- wherein the control unit is adapted for supplying electrical energy to the heating element and furthermore is adapted such that with it the temperature of the heating element is controllable in such a manner that, by shrinking the shrink tube, the two elements are connectable.
Apparatus for connecting a first element to a second element in a connection region by a shrink tube, the apparatus comprising
- a first element;
- a second element;
- a shrink tube;
- a heating element;
- and
- a control unit;
- wherein the shrink tube is pullable onto a connection region of the first element with the second element;
- wherein the heating element is adapted for providing thermal or inductive energy and is further adapted such that with it the shrink tube is encasable along at least a part of a circumference of the shrink tube;
- and
- wherein the control unit is adapted for supplying electrical energy to the heating element, and furthermore is adapted such that with it the temperature of the heating element is controllable in such a manner that, by shrinking the shrink tube, the first element is connectable to the second element.
A method for producing a device for connecting two elements by shrinking a shrink tube, the method comprising:
- adapting a heating element for providing thermal or inductive energy and adapting the heating element such that with it a shrink tube, which is pullable onto a connection region of two elements to be connected, is encasable along at least a part of a circumference of the shrink tube;
- and
- forming a control unit for supplying electrical energy to the heating element and adapting the control unit such that with it the temperature of the heating element is controllable in such a manner that, by shrinking the shrink tube, the two elements are connectable.
A method for connecting two elements by shrinking a shrink tube, the method comprising:
- pulling a shrink tube onto a connection region of two elements to be connected;
- encasing the pulled-on shrink tube by a heating element along at least a part of a circumference of the shrink tube;
- supplying, by the heating element, thermal or inductive energy to the shrink tube, wherein the temperature of the heating element is controlled in such a manner that the two elements are connected by shrinking the shrink tube.
