Cord management device, and cord management system comprising same

A cord management device comprising:

• a body comprising:
• a first end and a second end separated by a middle portion;
• a perimeter;
• and
• an interior bounded by the perimeter;
• a first recess and a second recess in the interior;
• a first aperture extending through the interior of the body and communicating with a first slot extending between the first aperture and the perimeter;
• and
• a second aperture extending through the interior of the body and communicating with a second slot extending between the second aperture and the perimeter,
• wherein:
• the first recess and the second recess lie substantially on a first axis of the body;
• the first aperture, the first recess, and the first slot are located at the first end of the body;
• and
• the second aperture, the second recess, and the second slot are located at the second end of the body.

A cord management system comprising:

• an object having a cord extending therefrom;
• and
• a cord management device comprising:
• a body having a first end, a second end, a perimeter, and an interior bounded by the perimeter;
• an aperture spaced apart from the perimeter and extending through the interior of the body;
• and
• a recess in the interior of the body,
• wherein:
• a middle portion of the body located between the first end and the second end is narrower than the first end and the second end;
• the middle portion of the body is capable of supporting the cord as the cord is wrapped thereon;
• and
• the recess is capable of receiving a portion of the object.
