An 8-modified purinenucleoside derivative represented by the general formula:

• wherein
• n represents 1 or 2;
• RA represents a hydrogen atom or a hydroxyl group;
• R1 represents a hydrogen atom, a hydroxyl group, a thiol group, an amino group or a chlorine atom;
• ring J represents an optionally substituted 2-naphthyl group, or a group represented by the general formula:
• Y represents a single bond or a connecting group;
• ring Z represents an aryl group, a heteroaryl group, acycloalkyl group or a heterocycloalkyl group;
• R2 to R4, P1, P2 and Q independently represents a halogen atom,
• a cyano group, -AH group or, -A-D-E-G group, in which
• A represents a single bond, —O—, —S—, —NR5—, —COO—, —CONR5—, —NR7CO— or —NR8COO— wherein R5 to R8 independently represents a hydrogen atom or a lower alkyl group;
• D represents an optionally substituted lower alkylene group, an optionally substituted lower alkenylene group or an optionally substituted lower alkynylene group;
• E represents a single bond, —O—, —S—, —NR9—, —COO—, —CONR10, —NR11CO—, —NR12COO—, an optionally substituted lower cycloalkylene group, an optionally substituted heterocycloalkylene group, an optionally substituted arylene group or an optionally substituted heteroarylene group in which R9 to R12 independently represents a hydrogen atom or a lower alkyl group;
• G represents a hydrogen atom, an optionally substituted lower alkyl group, an optionally substituted lower alkenyl group or an optionally substituted lower alkynyl group or an aryl(lower alkyl) group;
• or a prodrug thereof, or a pharmaceutically acceptable salt thereof, or a hydrate or solvate thereof.
