A coating material in laminate form, intended for an insulation system for installation elements including pipes, containers, and ventilation ducts, the insulation system comprising:
- a surface that the coating material must cover,
- an outer, first layer made of metal foil, having a thickness within a 20 to 100 μm or 30 to 60 μm range, together with a plastic layer placed between the metal foil first layer and the surface of the insulation system.
An insulation system for installation elements including pipes, containers, and ventilation ducts, the insulation system comprising:
- a surface covered with a coating material in laminate form, the material comprising an outer, first layer made of metal foil having a thickness within a 20 to 100 μm or 30 to 60 μm range, together with a plastic layer placed between the metal foil first layer and the surface of the insulation system,
- a flap placed on the coating material and provided for application on a joint between two adjacent insulation systems, or a slit in an insulation system.
