Abstract
Decoding a multiview video signal comprises: receiving a bitstream comprising encodings of multiple views of the multiview video signal, each view comprising multiple pictures segmented into multiple segments; and obtaining a predictor for illumination compensation of a first segment using an offset value for illumination compensation of at least one neighboring segment adjacent to the first segment, including selecting the at least one neighboring segment according to a predetermined order among the neighboring segments.
Claims10
A method for decoding a multiview video signal, comprising:
- receiving a bitstream comprising encodings of multiple views of the multiview video signal, each view comprising multiple pictures segmented into multiple segments;
- and
- obtaining a predictor for illumination compensation of a first segment using an offset value for illumination compensation of at least one neighboring segment adjacent to the first segment, including selecting the at least one neighboring segment according to a predetermined order among the neighboring segments.
