Abstract
Floor panels are shown with discontinuous surface layers, which are mechanically connectable to each other along one pair of adjacent edges, said floor panels comprising at least two floor elements whereof at least one of the floor elements is non rectangular.

A flooring system comprising a plurality of floor panels, wherein each floor panel comprises at least two factory connected floor elements, wherein the floor panels have a discontinuous core and surface layer, wherein the floor panels are mechanically connectable to each other along one pair of adjacent edges and, wherein at least one of the floor elements comprises adjacent edges, which are inclined with an angle of more than 90 degrees and that a first pair of adjacent edges of two floor panels is provided with a mechanical locking system, adapted to lock the panels in the horizontal and vertical direction.
