Abstract
A hair brush (10) has two portions (12, 24) joined by a hinge (16) at one end and each having brush heads (18, 20) at the other end. In profile, the brush heads are curved such that one is concave and the other is convex and, as a result, they nest within each other when closed together and apply their contour to hair trapped between the brush heads.

1) A brush comprising
- a first portion having a first handle and a first head with a first set of bristles, said first head having a hair contacting surface that is generally concave;
- a second portion having a second handle and a second head with a second set of bristles, said second head having a hair contacting surface that is generally convex;
- and
- a hinge pivotally connecting said first handle and said second handle.
