Abstract
An oscillating self-centering traffic-door that has a beam that contains engages an oscillator supported by a pin and plate that may enable 270 degrees of motion.
Claims30
An access door, comprising:
- a door panel;
- a beam attached to an edge of the door panel;
- an oscillator secured in the beam capable of engaging a support pin with a means for supporting the oscillator.
The access door of claim 2, where the means for supporting the oscillator further is a pin attached to the support pin with at least one bearing that rotates about the pin and engages the oscillator.
An access door, comprising:
- a door panel;
- a beam attached to an edge of the door panel;
- a support pin secured in the beam that has a means for engaging an oscillator, where the oscillator is fix in relationship to beam.
A method for self-centering door, comprising the steps of:
- attaching to a door panel to a beam;
- securing in a beam an oscillator;
- and
- securing to a floor mount a pin that a means capable of engaging the oscillator that allows the self-centering door to have a rest position and an open position.
