Abstract
According to the invention, there is provided a novel soybean variety designated 98Y11. This invention thus relates to the seeds of soybean variety 98Y11, to the plants of soybean 98Y11 to plant parts of soybean variety 98Y11 and to methods for producing a soybean plant produced by crossing plants of the soybean variety 98Y11 with another soybean plant, using 98Y11 as either the male or the female parent.

A seed of soybean variety 98Y11, representative seed of said soybean variety 98Y11 having been deposited under ATCC Accession Number PTA-XXXX.
A soybean plant, or a part thereof, expressing all the physiological and morphological characteristics of soybean variety 98Y11, representative seed of said soybean variety having been deposited under ATCC Accession Number PTA-XXXX.
A method for producing a 98Y11 derived soybean plant, comprising:
- a. Crossing soybean variety 98Y11, a sample of said soybean variety deposited under ATCC Accession Number PTA-XXXX, with a second soybean plant to yield progeny soybean seed;
- and
- b. Growing said progeny soybean seed to yield said 98Y11-derived soybean plant.
