Claims20
A method, comprising:
- creating an instance of a software component for the substantially private use of a thread, where a pool of software component instances is available to said thread.
A computing system comprising a machine, said computing system also comprising instructions disposed on a computer readable medium, said instructions capable of being executed by said machine to perform a method, said method comprising:
- in response to a thread's request to use a software component, creating an instance of said software component for the substantially private use of said thread, where a pool of software component instances is available to said thread.
The computer system of 8 wherein said created software component instance has a shorter execution time than software component instances in the pool of software component instances.
The computer system of 8 the pool of software component instances comprises:
- sharing the software component instances within said pool amongst a plurality of threads;
- and
- synchronizing access to the pool of software component instances.
An article of manufacture including program code which, when executed by a machine, causes the machine to perform a method, the method comprising:
- in response to a thread's request to use a software component, creating an instance of said software component for the substantially private use of said thread, where a pool of software component instances is available to said thread.
