Method and system for dynamically providing native libraries and their dependencies

A system of providing a native code library from a server to an interpreted programming language application for execution on a remote computer, comprising:

• means for invoking an installer object from within a main class of the interpreted programming language application;
• means for extracting a file list comprising at least one native-code-library-filename, wherein the native-code-library-filename indicates the native code library and a target directory on the remote computer;
• means for installing the native code library indicated by the native-code-library-filename to the target directory;
• and
• means for invoking the main class of the interpreted programming language application on the remote computer.

A computer program product, in a computer readable medium, for providing a native code library from a server to an interpreted programming language application for execution on a remote computer, comprising:

• instructions for invoking an installer object from within a main class of the interpreted programming language application;
• instructions for extracting a file list comprising at least one native-code-library-filename, wherein the native-code-library-filename indicates the native code library and a target directory on the remote computer;
• instructions for installing the native code library indicated by the native-code-library-filename to the target directory;
• and
• instructions for invoking the main class of the interpreted programming language application on the remote computer.
