Abstract
One or more handheld devices may be configured to receive and display content. A server may be configured to help the handheld devices display content. For example, by using at least some of the contents of one or more of feeds, the server may generate user interface data, which the handheld devices may use to display user interfaces that are configured to request content associated with the feeds.
Claims17
A user interface system for handheld devices, the user interface system comprising:
- a computing device configured to receive user input indicating a selection of two or more feeds;
- a server configured to receive, from the computing device, first data indicating the selection;
- to create second data indicating a first feed set, the first feed set including the selected two or more feeds;
- and to send, to the handheld device, third data indicating one or more feed sets, the one or more feed sets including the first feed set;
- and
- a handheld device configured to receive user input indicating a feed set selected from the one or more feed sets and to display a user interface, the user interface including content derived from at least one feed entry from each of a plurality of feeds from the selected feed set.
A user interface method for handheld devices, the user interface method comprising:
- displaying, by a handheld device, first data indicating one or more feed sets;
- receiving, by the handheld device, user input indicating a selection of a feed set from the one or more feed sets;
- and
- displaying, by the handheld device, a user interface including content derived from at least one feed entry from each of a plurality of feeds from the selected feed set.
A user interface method for handheld devices, the user interface method comprising:
- displaying, by a handheld device, first data indicating one or more feed sets;
- receiving, by the handheld device, user input indicating a selection of a feed set from the one or more feed sets;
- and
- displaying, by the handheld device, a user interface including content derived from at least one feed entry from each of a plurality of feeds from the selected feed set, the number of feed entries from which content is derived being limited by a feed-entry-per-feed limit.
