Location and tracking system, method and device using wireless technology

A method for locating an object comprising:

• obtaining sensory data about a first object having an unknown location, wherein the sensory data is projected from a mobility sensor associated with the first object;
• obtaining received signal strength indication data from at least one second object;
• wherein the received signal strength indication data is projected from a wireless communications package associated with the at least one second object;
• processing the sensory data and received signal strength indication data using at least one algorithm that identifies a location estimate about the first object, thereby locating the first object.

A device for locating an object comprising:

• at least one mobility sensor for providing sensory data about the object;
• a wireless communications package for providing received signal strength indication;
• and
• a processing unit for transmitting data about the object, the data including the sensory data and the received signal strength indication, wherein the device is associated with the object and is capable of transmitting the data for processing and identifying a location estimate about the object, thereby locating the object.
