The present invention relates to the L-lysine salt of aztreonam and methods for making the L-lysine salt of aztreonam.
Claims12
An amorphous Aztreonam L-lysine salt, wherein an aqueous solution of the amorphous Aztreonam L-lysine salt has a pH of not more than about 5.5 and the ratio of Aztreonam to L-lysine used to form the aqueous solution is between about 1:1 and about 1:2.1.
