Abstract
Provided is telithromycin which melts at a range of 175° C. to 185° C. Also provided are solid states of telithromycin and processes for the preparation thereof.
Claims87
Telithromycin, wherein the telithromycin melts at a range of 175° C. to 185° C.
Anhydrous telithromycin, wherein the anhydrous telithromycin melts at a range of 175° C. to 185° C.
Amorphous telithromycin.
A crystalline telithromycin, characterized by an X-ray powder diffraction pattern having peaks at 12.0°, 12.7°, 15.8°, 17.0°, and 19.6° 2η±0.2° 2θ.
A crystalline telithromycin, characterized by an X-ray powder diffraction pattern having peaks at 11.9°, 12.1°, 15.8°, 18.0°, and 23.8° 2θ±0.2° 2θ.
A crystalline telithromycin characterized by an X-ray powder diffraction pattern having peaks at 12.0°, 12.7°, 15.8°, 17.0°, and 19.6° 2θ±0.2° 2θ, wherein the crystalline telithromycin has less than about 10% by weight of crystalline telithromycin characterized by an X-ray powder diffraction pattern having peaks at 11.90, 12.1°, 15.8°, 18.0°, and 23.8° 2θ±0.2° 2θ.
