Folding apparatus for collect operation

A folding blade cylinder comprising:

• a rotatable cylinder body having a cylinder body periphery;
• five groups of tools distributed evenly on said cylinder body periphery and supported for working movement with respect to said cylinder body periphery;
• a control arm connected to each of said five groups of tools and usable to effect said working movement;
• a cam disk associated with said cylinder body and controlling said working movement of each said group of tools, said cam disk being traced by said control arm of each said group of tools;
• a rotatable cam disk including multiple covering cams, said cam disk being rotatable in relation to said cylinder body, said covering cams each being movable between an inactive position in which they permit said control of said working movement by said cam disk, and an active position in which they prevent said control of said working movement by said cam disk;
• a first group of four of said plurality of covering cams and having an angular spacing from each other of one of 60° and 120°;
• and
• a second group of three of said plurality of covering cams and having an angular spacing from each other of one of 90° and 180°.
