Implantable medical devices including polycationic peptide coatings are disclosed.
Claims9
An implantable medical device comprising a coating, wherein the coating includes a polycationic peptide such that the population of the polycationic peptide is greater in the outermost region of the coating.
An implantable medical device comprising:
- a coating comprising a first region including a polycationic peptide and a second region free from the polycationic peptide, wherein the peptide comprises a polyarginine having the formula H[NH—CHX—CO]p—OH where p is an integer in the range between about 5 and 1,000.
