An image forming apparatus that includes: a movable unit that can move between a first position that is for when image formation is being performed and a second position that is retreated from the first position; a first display that is used when the movable unit is in the first position; and a second display that is used when the movable unit is in the second position.

An image forming apparatus comprising:
- a movable unit that can move between a first position that is for when image formation is being performed and a second position that is retreated from the first position;
- a first display that is used when the movable unit is in the first position;
- and
- a second display that is used when the movable unit is in the second position.

A subunit replacing method of an image forming apparatus comprising:
- moving a movable unit in accordance with a first manipulation information displayed on a first display, from a first position that is for when image formation is being performed to a second position that is retreated from the first position;
- and
- replacing a subunit that is set in a main body of the image forming apparatus in accordance with a second manipulation information displayed on a second display that is used when the movable unit is in the second position.
A maintenance method of an image forming apparatus, comprising:
- moving a movable unit in accordance with a first manipulation information displayed on a first display, from a first position that is for when image formation is being performed to a second position that is retreated from the first position;
- and
- performing a maintenance work in accordance with a second manipulation information displayed on a second display that is used when the movable unit is in the second position.
