Radio oscillating and radar systems

A radio oscillating system for oscillating a radio signal:

• the system comprising;
• an optical modulator for oscillation;
• a modulating means for modulating an optical carrier wave inputted to said optical modulator so as to superimpose a sideband wave onto said carrier wave;
• a light receiver for oscillation to receive an outgoing light from said optical modulator and to convert said outgoing light into an electrical signal;
• and
• a radiating means for radiating a radio signal based on said electrical signal,
• wherein a modulating signal of a frequency fm is inputted into said optical modulator for oscillation and the amplitude of said modulating signal is made n times (“n” represents an integer of 2 or more) of the driving voltage Vπ of said optical modulator so that said sideband wave is superimposed at a position shifted by a frequency of n×fm with respect to said optical carrier wave to oscillate said radio signal of a frequency n×fm.

A radio oscillating system for oscillating a radio signal:

• the system comprising;
• an optical modulator for oscillation;
• a modulating means for modulating an optical carrier wave inputted to said optical modulator and for superimposing a sideband wave onto said carrier wave;
• a light receiver for oscillation to receive an outgoing light from said optical modulator and to convert said outgoing light into an electrical signal;
• and
• a radiating means for radiating a radio signal based on said electrical signal,
• wherein a modulating signal of a frequency fin is inputted into said optical modulator for oscillation and said sideband wave is superimposed at a position shifted by a frequency n ×fm (“n” represents an integer of 1 or more) with respect to said optical carrier wave so that said radio signal of a frequency of 2×n×fm is oscillated.
