Point-of-sale demonstration of computer peripherals

A demonstration system for delivering data to a device, the demonstration system comprising:

• a demonstration module comprising a memory containing demonstration data;
• and
• a controller, not associated with a host, in communication with the demonstration module, the controller having a first operational mode and a second operational mode, wherein in the first operational mode the controller is configured to access the memory in the demonstration module and deliver the demonstration data to the device to allow a demonstration to be performed on the device without the host, and wherein in the second operational mode the controller is configured to deliver data to the device from a data source other than the demonstration module.

A demonstration system for delivering data to a device, the demonstration system comprising:

• demonstration data means comprising a memory containing demonstration data;
• and
• means for accessing the demonstration data means, the means for accessing not associated with a host and having a first operational mode and a second operational mode, wherein in the first operational mode the means for accessing is configured for delivering the demonstration data from the demonstration data means to the device to allow a demonstration to be performed on the device without the host, and in the second operational mode the means for accessing is configured to deliver data from a data source other than the demonstration data means.
