Abstract
A terminal apparatus displays an enlarge-processed image based upon an image having predetermined resolution while an image having high resolution is acquired, and switches the displayed image to display an image having the high resolution when the acquiring operation of the image having the high resolution is accomplished. The terminal apparatus can performs display operations based upon a panning process operation and a tilting process operation in addition to the enlarging process operation.
Claims13
A terminal apparatus connected to a network camera, the terminal apparatus comprising:
- a display configured to display an image on a screen, the image being captured by the network camera in predetermined resolution;
- an input device configured to input an instruction for an enlargement of the image displayed on the screen of the display ;
- and
- a controller, when the instruction for the enlargement of the displayed image is input via the input device, configured to enlarge the image having the predetermined resolution, and to obtain from the network camera an image having a higher resolution than the predetermined resolution,
- the controller being further configured to display on the screen of the display an image enlarged based on the image having the predetermined resolution when obtaining from the network camera the image having the higher resolution,
- the controller, when the obtainment of the image having the higher resolution is completed, being further configured to display on the screen of the display an image enlarged based on the image having the higher resolution.
A method for controlling a terminal apparatus connected to a network camera, the terminal apparatus displaying an image on a screen of a display, the image being captured by the network camera in predetermined resolution, the terminal apparatus inputting an instruction for an enlargement of the image displayed on the screen of the display, the method comprising:
- enlarging the image having the predetermined resolution and obtaining from the network camera an image having a higher resolution than the predetermined resolution when the instruction for the enlargement of the displayed image is input;
- displaying on the screen of the display an image enlarged based on the image having the predetermined resolution when obtaining from the network camera the image having the higher resolution;
- and
- displaying on the screen of the display an image enlarged based on the image having the higher resolution when the obtainment of the image having the higher resolution is completed.
A computer readable medium storing a computer program, the computer program installed in a terminal apparatus connected to a network camera, the computer readable medium comprising:
- a code segment configured to display an image on a screen, the image being captured by the network camera in predetermined resolution;
- a code segment configured to input an instruction for an enlargement of the image displayed on the screen of the display;
- a code segment, when the instruction for the enlargement of the displayed image is input via the input device, configured to enlarge the image having the predetermined resolution, and to obtain from the network camera an image having a higher resolution than the predetermined resolution;
- a code segment configured to display on the screen of the display an image enlarged based on the image having the predetermined resolution when obtaining from the network camera the image having the higher resolution;
- and
- a code segment, when the obtainment of the image having the higher resolution is completed, configured to display on the screen of the display an image enlarged based on the image having the higher resolution.
