Abstract
A dispensing device, a storage device and a method for dispensing a medical formulation are proposed. Multiple doses of the formulation are stored in a carrier having multiple inserts, each insert containing a single dose. Preferably, each insert has at least one duct or nozzle for dispensing the respective dose. Each insert is located in a separate and sealed cavity in the carrier. The cavities can be individually opened for dispensing the respective dose from the respective insert.

Dispensing device for dispensing a medical formulation as a spray of fine particles, the dispensing device comprising multiple separate and pre-metered doses of the formulation, wherein the dispensing device comprises a carrier with multiple inserts, at least some of the inserts containing a single dose of the formulation and means for individually dispensing the formulation from the respective insert.
Storage device for a medical formulation, the storage device comprising multiple separate and pre-metered doses of the formulation, wherein the storage device comprises a carrier with multiple inserts, each insert containing one of the doses of the formulation and wherein the storage device is adapted for mounting in a dispensing device for dispensing the medical formulation as a spray including fine particles.
Method for dispensing a preferably medical formulation as a spray including fine particles from a storage device comprising multiple separate and pre-metered doses of the formulation, comprising the steps of:
- storing the doses in multiple inserts in a carrier with each insert containing one dose of the formulation and being located in a separate and sealed cavity of the carrier, and
- individually opening the cavities for dispensing the respective dose from the respective insert.
