Abstract
The device for transporting segments of wood comprises an annular binding made of a material that is biodegradable and combustible. The binding can thus be burnt in a fireplace after it has been used. Said binding comprises two binding rings and spacers, the rings and the spacers being assembled together by means of them having co-operating shapes. Wedges make it possible to hold the segments of wood in position, without having to use a clamping band.

A device for transporting segments of wood, said device comprising an annular binding made of a material that is biodegradable and combustible, said device being characterized in that said binding comprises two binding rings interconnected by spacers held stationary on said rings by means of the spacers and the rings having co-operating shapes.
