Computer virus and malware cleaner

A method of generating a potential solution for clearing a user computer of a malicious effect, comprising:

• automatically determining a need for a solution for clearing the user computer of the malicious effect, wherein the solution is not resident to the user computer at the time of detection;
• capturing information pertaining to the user computer;
• following said determining and capturing, uploading the information from the user computer to a computer server;
• downloading to the user computer a process for implementing a potential solution to the malicious effect, wherein the potential solution is based upon the uploaded information;
• and
• implementing the potential solution at the user computer.

A system of generating a potential solution for clearing a user computer of a malicious effect, comprising:

• means for uploading a request to clean the user computer of the malicious effect, wherein the request comprises user computer information;
• means for downloading to the user computer a potential solution to the malicious effect, wherein the potential solution is derived based at least in part upon an automated analysis of the uploaded information;
• and
• means for implementing the potential solution at the user computer;
• wherein said uploading means is triggered and performed automatically without user intervention by a user of the user computer.

A system for generating a potential solution for clearing a user computer of a malicious effect, comprising:

• means for automatically determining a need for a solution for clearing the user computer of the malicious effect, wherein the solution is not resident to the user computer at the time of detection;
• means for capturing system information pertaining to the user computer;
• means for uploading the system information and logged information from the user computer to a computer server;
• means for downloading to the user computer a process for implementing a potential solution to the malicious effect, wherein the potential solution is based upon the uploaded information;
• and
• means for implementing the potential solution at the user computer.

A process for creating a custom cleaner for clearing a source of a malicious effect from a personal computer, comprising:

• automatically detecting a need for the custom cleaner;
• automatically gathering specific system information for inclusion in a custom cleaner request;
• automatically generating and transmitting the custom cleaner request to a server for processing;
• automatically generating the custom cleaner from a database of parameterized instructions;
• automatically downloading the custom cleaner to the personal computer;
• and
• automatically executing the custom cleaner after being received at the personal computer.

A system for creating custom virus and malware cleaners on personal computers comprising:

• means for automatically detecting the need of a Custom Cleaner;
• means for automatically gathering specific system information for a Custom Cleaner Request;
• means for automatically generating and transmitting a Custom Cleaner Request to a server for processing;
• means for automatically generating a Custom Cleaner from a database of parameterized instructions;
• means for automatically downloading the Custom Cleaner to the user's computer;
• and
• means for automatically executing the Custom Cleaner once received on a user's computer.

A method of generating a potential solution for clearing a user computer of a malicious effect, comprising:

• receiving at a server computer, information pertaining to the user computer;
• analyzing the uploaded information nonresident to the user computer to identify a potential solution to the malicious effect;
• downloading to the user computer a potential solution to the malicious effect;
• and
• receiving from the user computer response information pertaining to carrying out said implementing of the potential solution.

A system for generating a potential solution for clearing a user computer of a malicious effect, comprising:

• means for receiving at a server computer, information pertaining to the user computer;
• means for analyzing the received information nonresident to the user computer to identify a potential solution to the malicious effect;
• means for downloading to the user computer the potential solution to the malicious effect;
• and
• means for receiving from the user computer response information pertaining to carrying out the potential solution.
