Abstract
A media sheet having a customized carbon paper portion thereon and a method for making the same are disclosed. The media sheet having a first and second side, the first side of the media sheet comprising a carbon paper portion, the carbon paper portion being capable of transferring a marking onto a surface capable of receiving the marking, the marking corresponds to a pressure applied to the second side of the media sheet over the carbon paper portion.

A method for making a media sheet having a customized carbon paper portion thereon, the method comprising the steps of:
- providing a media sheet;
- specifying a carbon paper portion on the media sheet;
- and
- using an inkjet printer to print a dye-based ink at the specified carbon paper portion of the media sheet to create the customized carbon paper portion thereon, wherein said customized carbon paper portion is capable of transferring a marking onto a surface.
A method for making a media sheet having a customized carbon paper portion thereon, the method comprising the steps of:
- providing a media sheet having first and second sides;
- specifying a carbon paper portion on the first side of the media sheet;
- translating the specified carbon portion from the first side to the second side of the media sheet;
- and
- using an inkjet printer to print a dye-based ink to the specified carbon paper portion on the second side of the media sheet,
- wherein said customized carbon paper portion is capable of transferring a marking onto a surface.
