Abstract
A device for conveying signatures from a gripper cylinder to a folding cylinder comprises, in a free gap formed between the two cylinders, a supporting element supporting a plate which can be pivoted about a fulcrum, the plate rotatably supporting a signature guiding body having an oval cross-section and extending through the width of the cylinders, the body being covered, on a side thereof facing the cylinders, by a low friction web.

A signature guiding device, arranged in a free gap formed between a signature (S) feeding gripper cylinder (3) and a signature removing and folding cylinder (4), characterized in that in said free gap (2) between said two cylinders (3, 4) a supporting element (16) is arranged, said supporting element supporting a pivotable plate (8) which can be pivoted about a fulcrum (7), and that said pivotable plate (8) rotatably supports a signature (8) guiding body (15) having an oval cross-section and extending through a width of said cylinders (3, 4), said guiding body (15) having a side thereof facing said cylinders (3, 4) and covered by a low friction web (24).
